About Us
Who Are We
OFA Sports Foundation is a non-profit organisation. We are trying to create a platform in sports for all age categories and genders in our state Odisha. We believe that we can do great for not just the hidden talent but also for the community by bringing the positivity in the environment. Sports can enhance a holistic development in a child and provides a wholesome education.
Our Mission
– To develop a working model that includes intercultural understanding and respect to help everyone grow through sports as a tool.
– To create awareness of sports
– To involve and cater to as many as possible
– To make each infrastructure self sustainable
What We Do
We aim to provide a platform in 3 aspects,
– Academy, where the child learns to play from a young age
– Create an inter school, inter college level league
– Professional and amateur leagues
About OFA Foundation
We aim to provide a platform in 3 aspects:

Academy
We currently run a coaching academy for kids under various age categories under professional guidance.

Institute Leagues
These leagues would not just promote the sport but also raise interest in children and youth of today’s time

Professional Leagues
These leagues would help senior players to showcase their talent and get scouted for state and national teams.
At OFA we aim to create a platform in sports for all age categories, genders and economical backgrounds. We have been successful in creating such platforms by the help of our academy which operates from our 5 X 5 turf ( the first ever in Rourkela) and with the help of various tournaments that we have organized in the past. In the recent most concluded tournament organized by team OFA, we saw some great talents coming in and performing to their best of the abilities. Over then span of 25 days , 2500+ athletes and footballers took the ground to showcase their skill set and make great use of the platform. All our matches are live recorded which gives us a great insight on the minute by minute performance of the player. Using such tools and scouting team, we have also scouted some great talents and provided talents to other Football Clubs too.
Our Founder's Message
I believe that sportsperson and wealth are 2 parallel lines that intersect very rarely in a country like ours. Mostly 99% of the times, a sportsperson comes from a poor background and the rich don’t make it big because they lack the hunger for survival in sports industry. I fall in the 1% category who has represented on national level for multiple sports. I feel it is my purpose to bridge the gap between the two and make sports readily available to everyone in a structured manner.
